Newcastle United<\/a> left-back Jose Enrique<\/a> has attacked the club’s transfer dealings and warns they will never progress if their policy does not change.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defender, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Liverpool throughout the summer, has accused Newcastle of lacking ambition and claims he has not been offered an improvement to his current salary.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 25-year-old posted a series of scathing comments on the social networking site Twitter<\/em>: \u201cThe club is allowing all the major players of the team to go. Seriously, do you think it is the fault of the players? Andy Carroll, nobby Kevin Nolan etc etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis club will never again fight to be among the top 6 again with this policy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Manager Alan Pardew has conceded the defender is not willing to sign a new deal at St James’ Park and the Spaniard went on to write: \u201cThe sic give the money I have already. They lie all the time. But is no for money is because they don\u2019t want spend in the club and bring quality players that\u2019s why everybody go.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Enrique thanked the Newcastle fans by saying: \u201cI think you fans are the best and you deserve the best, not what they are doing with the club. Thanks to everyone for supporting me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
