{"id":466151,"date":"2011-07-22T10:42:19","date_gmt":"2011-07-22T10:42:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/07\/22\/i%e2%80%99m-a-chain-smoker-%e2%80%93-kwesi-pratt-admits\/"},"modified":"2011-07-22T10:42:19","modified_gmt":"2011-07-22T10:42:19","slug":"im-a-chain-smoker-kwesi-pratt-admits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/07\/22\/im-a-chain-smoker-kwesi-pratt-admits\/","title":{"rendered":"I\u2019m A Chain Smoker \u2013 Kwesi Pratt Admits"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"75.1298507463\">\n<div readability=\"73\">\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/d4d833a3kwasi_pratt.jpg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14903\" title=\"kwasi_pratt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/d4d833a3kwasi_pratt.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"255\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kwesi Pratt Jnr<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>MANAGING EDITOR of the <em>Insight Newspaper<\/em> and self-styled social commentator, Kwesi Pratt, has admitted that smoking has been an albatross around his neck; a social menace he has made countless efforts to quit to no avail.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Pratt, who dropped the bombshell on Ekuoba Gyasi\u2019s Morning Show on <em>Hot Fm<\/em> yesterday, disclosed that he has been battling with smoking which has been part of his life for many years now.<\/p>\n<p>Vociferous Kwasi Pratt, who has been described as an unofficial propagandist of the Mills-Mahama administration, said he became a habitual smoker at his tender age and has since been struggling to quit.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, he had tried on several occasions to stop his smoking habit, but rather found himself smoking more and more.<\/p>\n<p>The self-confession of the man, who claims to be a member of the Convention Peoples\u2019 Party (CPP), came as a shock to the host of the programme and the listening public since he was not pushed to the wall to warrant the confession.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Pratt was sharing his thoughts on an order to arrest homosexuals in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Western Regional Minister, Paul Evans Aidoo supposedly issued an order for the immediate arrest of all homosexuals in his region.<\/p>\n<p>The minister is said to have allegedly tasked the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) and all security agencies to smoke out persons suspected to be engaging in same sex.<\/p>\n<p>However Kwesi Pratt says the order is highly irrelevant and lambasted the minister for having come out with such an idea.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>From Fred Tettey Alarti-Amoako, Sunyani<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>This entry was posted in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailyguideghana.com\/?cat=3\" title=\"View all posts in Politics\" rel=\"category\">Politics<\/a>.
