His career at United has been nothing but excellent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;ll accept the new offer, and tie himself to the club for the next two years.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Park, who scored in United&#8217;s 7-0 victory over Seattle Sounders in a friendly on Wednesday, joined the Old Trafford club from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old has won four Premier League titles and three League Cups with the English club and became the first South Korean to play in a Champions League final when the Red Devils lost to Barcelona in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Ferguson also confirmed that new goalkeeper David de Gea will make his debut for the club against Major League Soccer&#8217;s Chicago Fire on Saturday as the Red Devils continue their United States Tour.<\/p>\n<p>The 20-year-old, <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/sport1\/hi\/football\/13933241.stm\">an \u00a318m signing from Atletico Madrid<\/a>, joined the tour late after playing a key role in Spain&#8217;s victorious European Under-21 Championship campaign last month.<\/p>\n<p>After training for three days, the United boss is now keen to see how the Spaniard performs in a match environment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;David has had a few days&#8217; training now and done fine,&#8221; said Ferguson.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Being young and coming into the English game, the one area we are not sure about is that he may need time.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the other hand, he might do what Petr Cech did at Chelsea and take it by storm.
