{"id":462298,"date":"2011-07-14T09:28:24","date_gmt":"2011-07-14T09:28:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/07\/14\/nyilawila-to-fight-zambian-in-friendly-bout\/"},"modified":"2011-07-14T09:28:24","modified_gmt":"2011-07-14T09:28:24","slug":"nyilawila-to-fight-zambian-in-friendly-bout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/07\/14\/nyilawila-to-fight-zambian-in-friendly-bout\/","title":{"rendered":"Nyilawila to Fight Zambian in Friendly Bout"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"37.404293381\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecitizen.co.tz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Citizen<\/a> (Dar\u00a0es\u00a0Salaam)<\/p>\n<p>Doris Maliyaga<\/p>\n<p>13 July 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Dar es Salaam \u2014 The World Boxing Federation (WBF) middleweight boxer, Kalama Nyilawila, will have a non-title date against Zambian Mwamba Moses at the PTA Hall on September 30.<\/p>\n<p>Nyilawila, who landed the sports writers gong last season, will be relishing fighting at home having laboriously posted victories abroad.<\/p>\n<p>He grabbed the WBF belt in the Czech Republic after posting an unanimous decision win over his Albanian challenger Kreshnik Qato last December.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinator of the bout, Kaike Siraju, told The Citizen yesterday that preparations for the fight, billed to be attention-grabbing, were on course. &#8220;We&#8217;ve already started the preparations for the bout, hopefully everything will be in place by early September,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Siraju, one of the prominent bout promoters, added: &#8220;Nyilawila is one of the best boxers in the country right now and we believe that he will stretch his impressive run against foreign boxers.&#8221;For his part, Nyilawila voiced his optimism of knocking out the Zambian to keep his run going. &#8220;I have known Mwamba for a long time, he is very skilful, but his records don&#8217;t faze me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At present, I&#8217;m honing my skills ahead of the fight and I&#8217;m confident that I can hold my own.
