{"id":450751,"date":"2011-06-30T07:57:30","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T07:57:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/06\/30\/nigeria-bayelsa-govt-tasks-state-contingent-to-sports-festival\/"},"modified":"2011-06-30T07:57:30","modified_gmt":"2011-06-30T07:57:30","slug":"nigeria-bayelsa-govt-tasks-state-contingent-to-sports-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/06\/30\/nigeria-bayelsa-govt-tasks-state-contingent-to-sports-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria: Bayelsa Govt Tasks State Contingent to Sports Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"43.8152064451\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanguardngr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/allafrica.com\/img\/static\/publishers\/minibanners\/vanguard180.jpg\" alt=\"Vanguard (Lagos)\" title=\"Visit Vanguard (Lagos)\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Samuel Oyadongha, Yenagoa<\/p>\n<p>30 June 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Chief Werinipre Seibarugu, has charged Team Bayelsa to make the state proud by clinching the first position in the next week&#8217;s National Sports Festival taking place in Port Harcourt Rivers State.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Governor gave the charge while addressing the state contingent to the sports festival in Yenagoa as it makes final preparation for the Garden City Games 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Seibarugu assured that the sports men and women that the government will do everything possible to provide all they need to bring out their best at the games.<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging some of the problems confronting the athletes such as inadequate training equipment, the deputy governor commended them for conducting themselves properly, adding that the state government will promptly address their needs.
