{"id":450283,"date":"2011-06-29T15:22:51","date_gmt":"2011-06-29T15:22:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/06\/29\/sierra-leone-newcastle-increases-interest-in-local-pair\/"},"modified":"2011-06-29T15:22:51","modified_gmt":"2011-06-29T15:22:51","slug":"sierra-leone-newcastle-increases-interest-in-local-pair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/06\/29\/sierra-leone-newcastle-increases-interest-in-local-pair\/","title":{"rendered":"Sierra Leone: Newcastle Increases Interest in Local Pair"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"34.4313956919\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Concord Times (Freetown)<\/p>\n<p>27 June 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Freetown \u2014 English Premier League giants Newcastle United are believed to be stepping up their interest in Sierra Leone and AIK duo, Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura and Mohamed Poborsky Bangura.<\/p>\n<p>Report earlier stated that the English side were only interested in signing Tetteh Bangura but having seen the two strikers forging a strong partnership upfront, the Toons are now tempted to make a move for both players.<\/p>\n<p>According to skysports, reports in Scandinavia claim that the Premier League side has run the rule over both men, and already 21-year-old Tetteh Bangura has admitted that the Magpies had been following his progress in the Swedish league.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I know Newcastle has seen all my matches and following me,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>AIK sporting director Jens Andersson admitted that Mohamed Poborsky Bangura is also on the Toon&#8217;s radar.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The interest hasn&#8217;t faded, it&#8217;s no lower than a few months before,&#8221; he told Fotbolldirekt.se. &#8220;I think that he is just becoming better and better. The big difference is that he so far hasn&#8217;t scored many goals, but they will come and I think that the clubs that follow him know that.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Foreign clubs see him in each game and they know what class he has.
