Ghana captain John Mensah has stated he will only stay at French side Olympique Lyon if he is guaranteed more playing time at the Stade Gerland.<\/p>\n
The centre-back has been given an ultimatum to report to the club by 30 June ahead of their pre-season.<\/p>\n
Mensah joined Lyon in the summer of 2008 but left the club the following year to Sunderland-where he spent two seasons on loan-after falling down the pecking order.<\/p>\n
With the departure of Claude Puel as head coach, the Rock of Gibraltar could see through the remainder of his five-year contract.<\/p>\n
\u201cLyon is a great club and if they are prepared to give me enough playing time then why not, I will play there because I have a running contract with them,\u201d Mensah said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have given me up till June 30th to report. For now, there are no concrete offers on the table so I have to return to France to see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
