ILORIN \u2013 The\u00a0 Kwara\u00a0 State Government will today begin a census of unemployed youths in the state as a prelude to creating 2,000 jobs within the first 100 days of the administration under Governor\u00a0 Abdufatah Ahmed\u2019s flagship Kwara Bridge Empowerment Scheme (KWABES).<\/p>\n

The headcount is\u00a0 to capture youths aged between 18 and 35 with a minimum qualification of Secondary School Leaving Certificate.<\/p>\n

Eligible applicants are expected to register at their local government area of residence.<\/p>\n

KWABES aims to quantify unemployed youths in the state,\u00a0 train them in essential technical skills and entrepreneurship as well as place them in employment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
