ENUGU \u2013 NATIONAL Chairman of Progre-ssive People\u2019s Alliance, PPA, Chief Sam Nkire, said, yesterday, that the Government of National Unity, GNU,\u00a0 proposed by President Goodluck Jonathan would be incomplete without PPA.<\/p>\n

Nkire, who spoke with Vanguard in Enugu, pointed out that for the proposed GNU to represent a spectrum of political parties and command the confidence of the generality of Nigerians, more political parties must be brought on board.<\/p>\n

The PPA boss emphasised that his party\u2019s interest in participating in GNU was borne out of the desire to serve and help in reshaping the fatherland and nothing else.<\/p>\n

Nkire said he believed the task of rebuilding Nigeria was a collective one which did not need many people pulling in different directions.<\/p>\n

He further said that PPA believed President Jonathan, with the cooperation of Nigerians, could take Nigeria to the promised land, stressing that this was why PPA supported him at the polls.<\/p>\n

On security, Nkire said good governance would solve the problem of insecurity in the country permanently.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
