Adom FM\u2019s Papa Bills real name Bills Gborgli was on Saturday, June 25 honoured with a prestigious Producer of the Year award at the maiden edition of the Radio and Television Personality Awards.<\/p>\n
Held at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra, Papa Bills, scooped the award ahead of other strong competitors like Kofi Ansah of Joy FM, Gideon Okyere Anim of Asempa FM (both sister stations of Adom FM),\u00a0 Kwadwo Asante of Peace FM, Roland Acquah Stephens of Radio Gold and Yaw Nimako of Angel FM.<\/p>\n
Having worked his way up the ladder at Adom FM by dint of hard work, Bills has distinguished himself both as a DJ and producer. <\/p>\n
He is the producer of two of the most successful shows on the station, Work and Happiness and Ofiekwanso which air from Mondays to Fridays and hosts Efiada Mbosoo on Friday evenings. Until recently, he hosted Adom Gospel Keteke on Sundays.<\/p>\n
Receiving the award, Papa Bills said he was shocked at the award and thanked his colleagues, bosses and the Multimedia Group for their support.<\/p>\n
Other big winners from the Multimedia Group included Bola Ray, Doreen Andoh of Joy FM and Daddy Bosco of Hitz FM.<\/p>\n
The Radio and Television Personality Awards was organized by Xtertic UK and Big Events GH under the theme \u201cShaping the Radio and the Television Industry in Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n
It was aimed at awarding personalities who have over the years contributed immensely towards the development of radio and Television in Ghana.<\/p>\n
In all, 8 Honorary Awards, 6 Non-Competitive Categories and 26 Competitive Categories were awarded.<\/p>\n
