Juventus<\/a> general manager Giuseppe Marotta has refuted reports that Juve are interested in signing Park Ji-Sung<\/a> from Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Goal.com<\/strong> exclusively revealed earlier this month that the Turin giants have a transfer kitty of \u20ac50 million (\u00a344m) available this summer<\/a>, and the Turin club have been linked with the 30-year-old Korean, who is out of contract at Old Trafford in mid-2012, after comments made by agent Federico Pastorello.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

It was reported Pastorello would hold negotiations with Park on behalf of Juventus and the agent told Calcio Mercato<\/em> the club’s sporting director Fabio Paratici \u201cdefinitely wants\u201d the Korean.<\/span><\/p>\n

Marotta told Sky Sport Italia<\/em>: “No, we’re not interested in Park. We will sign a quality player in attack, certainly a top striker. We already have a world class addition to our midfield with Andrea Pirlo.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He brings great quality as well as being an exemplary professional.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Park had told reporters earlier in the week he was keen to stay in Manchester.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It would be honour for me to keep playing for Manchester United,” said Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I have nothing to say about any transfer rumours – I just want to stay at Manchester United.<\/span><\/p>\n

“As an Asian player, it’s an honour to play for the biggest club in the world. I and other players want to achieve a 20th league title for United.”<\/span><\/p>\n


Tthe transfer guru also admitted that Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero and Villarreal’s Guiseppe Rossi would both be perfect acquisitions for the Serie A side.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cBoth are talented and capable of making the difference. They do match up with the profile of the kind of player we are looking for.”<\/p>\n
