Louis Saha<\/a> has revealed the extent he has been forced to go to in order to regain fitness ahead of the new Premier League<\/a> campaign after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury that ended his season prematurely.<\/p>\n

The Everton striker scored 10 goals for the Toffees last season but his season came to an early end after picking up the injury in a 2-1 victory over Fulham in April.<\/p>\n

Saha has endured an injury-plagued career, particularly during his time at Manchester United, where he spent four years before moving to Everton in 2008 for an undisclosed fee.<\/p>\n

However, the Frenchman is now well on the road to recovery and revealed that whilst usually he is not a fan of pre-season training, this year he is looking forward do it. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m sleeping in an oxygen tent like Michael Jackson did to boost the healing process and recovery after training,” he said, according to the Daily Star<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“I do it because no-one plays forever and I want to make the most of the career that I have left.<\/p>\n

“I hate pre-season but I love to get back training to touch the ball again.”<\/p>\n

Everton start their season on August 13 with a trip to White Hart Lane to take on Tottenham.<\/p>\n
