Miss Angelina Dadzie, a sales agent of TIGO told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the upsurge was as a result of the fear of subscribers losing their phone numbers and regretted that most people failed to provide identification cards, making it difficult for them to register.<\/p>\n

Miss Francisca Bilson, a level 100 Student at the Nurses and Midwifery Training College said due to her tight schedule she was enable to register early.<\/p>\n

At the Airtel office, Percy Akoto, a Territory Sales Executive said due to the presence of registration agents in town the pressure had gone down a bit at the office.<\/p>\n

Mrs Akosua Aidoo, a nursing mother and a banker, lauded the reason behind the registration, but called on the companies to devise measures that would make it less cumbersome.<\/p>\n

Kenneth Asiedu, a Sales Executive at the Expresso office was of the hope that subscribers would cooperate and provide the required identity cards to ensure a successful exercise.<\/p>\n
