Juventus<\/a> are ready to table a deal for Manchester United<\/a>‘s Korean midfielder Park Ji-Sung<\/a>, according to an Italian report.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 30-year-old, who will be out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the 2011-12 season, had told reporters earlier this week he wants to stay with the Red Devils.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is keen to negotiate with United on Park, according to agent Federico Pastorello – who is set to hold the discussions with the Premier League champions on behalf of the Italian club.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Park’s contract with Manchester United runs out in 2012 and Sir Alex Ferguson wants to keep him,\u201d said Pastorello to Calcio Mercato<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“However, Juventus technical secretary Fabio Paratici definitely wants him.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Juventus are in the market for a midfielder, with new boss Antonio Conte allowing Alberto Aquilani to return to Liverpool after a loan spell, while Mohamed Sissoko and Felipe Melo could also be set for the exit door.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rumours have been rife about Park’s future at United, despite Ferguson reportedly being keen to re-sign the Korean.<\/span><\/p>\n

Park, who had been linked with Spanish duo Atletico Madrid and Sevilla last week, also moved to dispel the speculation when he told reporters in Vietnam that he wants to remain at Old Trafford.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It would be an honour for me to keep playing for Manchester United,” said Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I have nothing to say about any transfer rumours – I just want to stay at Manchester United.<\/span><\/p>\n

“As an Asian player, it’s an honour to play for the biggest club in the world. I and other players want to achieve a 20th league title for United.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
