It was electrifying as she sang live her songs, Ode o!, Jesus Jesus, Be still, I\u2019m still here etc. Her most prominent performance had been the one she did with K\u2019ore of the defunct Olorioko group which had received a roar of applause with guests rising happily on their feet.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-170921\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vanguardngr.com\/?attachment_id=170921\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-170921\" title=\"Dieko\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/aa545735eko-200x300.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dieko is no novice in the business as she is highly celebrated both locally and internationally after winning the prestigious Omega Award as the best female vocalist in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>According to close family relatives, Dieko\u00a0was first exposed to singing and dancing at age four and by the time she was eight she\u2019d started singing on stage before live audiences. She was discovered in the choir of\u00a0Rhema\u00a0Chapel International Churches where she used to attend and minister.\u00a0 Dieko\u2019s\u00a0interest in professional music and performing started when she was 15 and represented her school at a national arts competition\u00a0organised\u00a0for all Federal Government Colleges in\u00a0Abuja. She performed a solo and won the competition. With many dignitaries including the Minister for Education at that time in attendance, it was a high point for the young\u00a0Diekolola\u00a0at that time. \u00a0Dieko\u00a0started singing professionally just before getting into the University. By then she was already a leader in the choir. She won a musical talent show call \u2018G-Music\u2019 in 2008 and that gave her music some recognition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Comments are moderated.
