According to him, election is about representation by choice of candidate and that the people of The Gambia have taken a stock of President Jammeh&#8217;s development projects and achievements for the past 16 years.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Sanneh went on to state that during the past 16 years President Jammeh&#8217;s administration has boosted the economy of The Gambia and has brought development to the doorsteps of the people. He said Gambians have seen the efforts of the Gambian leader in terms of infrastructural development and poverty alleviation. He called on the people of West Coast Region to not only vote for President Jammeh in the upcoming election, but to vote with 95 percent. &#8220;This time around we want to show the whole world that President Jammeh is a type of leader Africa needs,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Sanneh recalled that when the president took over power in 1994, many people around the world were asking him how he could develop the country. He said the President&#8217;s response was that his hopes were only on God.
