Wolves<\/a> chief executive Jex Moxey is ready to pull out of perspective transfers as clubs demand\u00a0 excessive amounts for players.<\/p>\n

Manager Mick McCarthy has seen his attempts at signing Roger Johnson from Birmingham and Matt Mills from Reading rebuffed as both sides hold out for more money.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, Moxey is preparing himself to look elsewhere as the club look to build on their last-day survival in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

He told Sky Sports: “<\/em>We have got feelers out to a number of clubs – so we either start getting serious now or we move on.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>“We are now telling clubs to make a decision.<\/span>“We need to get things done and what we’re saying is ‘if you don’t want to do business, we’ll forget it and move on’.”<\/p>\n

The club have already confirmed the signings of Jamie O’Hara from Tottenham, who was loan at Molineux last season, and Swansea goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.<\/p>\n

He added:<\/p>\n

<\/span> “We’ve done one deal for a high-class midfield player who, from the vibe we’re getting within the game, will be regarded as a very astute piece of business.<\/p>\n

“We’re also delighted to have signed a quality goalkeeper who will provide the right competition for Wayne Hennessey.<\/p>\n

“But we need to concentrate on other, more pressing areas now.”
