Michael Dawson<\/a> is already eyeing up Tottenham<\/a>‘s first game of the season against Everton<\/a> to kick start their challenge to regain their Champions League place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spurs finished fifth last season, six points behind Arsenal in the final Champions League place, and will play in the Europa League in the 2011\/12 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dawson believes Everton will pose a strong test for Harry Redknapp\u2019s side and thinks a good start is crucial for any hopes they may have for a successful season.<\/span><\/p>\n

He told the club\u2019s official website: \u201cIt\u2019s always tough whenever we\u2019ve faced Everton, and always decent games, home or away.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey are good team, everyone knows that and they will look to get off to a better start this time around.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEvery game in the Premier League is tough. There aren\u2019t many games where you look at it and it\u2019s three points guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are games where you\u2019ll think \u2018hopefully we\u2019ll get three points there\u2019 but there is never a guarantee. Just look at our form against the bottom five teams last season and that says it all. Every game is a challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll be back in July and that\u2019s when we start preparing for Everton. That\u2019s the game we\u2019ll be focusing on.“<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
