Adam Larsen Kwarasey must fight for a position in the Black Stars<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Would-be Ghana international Adam Larsen Kwarasey has been told by goalkeepers\u2019 trainer Edward Ansah that his place in the Black Stars is not guaranteed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Norway-born gloves man was cleared by Fifa on Wednesday, paving way for his Ghana debut hopefully in August against rivals Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The Str\u00f8msgodset first choice goalkeeper has been hailed by the local media as a heir apparent for the ageing Richard Kingson.<\/p>\n

But the 21-year-old has been told he must justify his inclusion to the 2010 Fifa World Cup quarter-final team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to see him training and what he\u2019s capable of doing and if God willing he\u2019s ready for our next game against Nigeria. I think we will give him a chance to prove himself,\u201d Ansah told Accra-based Joy FM.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is coming new into Ghana football. He might have one or two problems but that wouldn\u2019t be that serious but he needs to adjust and work along the other problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cBarring any injuries, we will try him in our next match but that doesn\u2019t take anything away from Richard (Kingson). He\u2019s still our number one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kwarasey must fend off competition from locally-based Ernest Sowah, Sammy Adjei and Daniel Agyei.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
