WARRI \u2013 THE Omadino community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, has threatened to drag the Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, to court over what it termed the fraudulent and unlawful sale of OML 42 oil block without the community\u2019s consent to NESTOIL.<\/p>\n

The community, which claimed to be Shell\u2019s largest stakeholder and chief host to her Northern Swamp Operations in Delta State, said in a statement by the community Chairman, Mr. Austin Oniyesan, that \u201cit is a criminal breach of trust on the part of Shell to carry out the process of sales of its operational facilities and completed a sales purchase agreement of the oil mining lease OML 42 without the consent of the Omadino community\u00a0 that authorised lease of operation to the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
