The faith-based Media Group, Christian Media Center has classified as unnecessary aggression decision by the Liberian government to cease the ELWA land at all cost.<\/p>\n

Christian Media Center in a release issued Saturday said it find it difficult to understand why President Ellen Johnson, a Christian is adamant about the ELWA land grab despite persistent public outcry.<\/p>\n

The Center says the fact that president Sirleaf has taken ELWA to court to pursue the takeover of the land warrants God\u2019s attention and that every Christian should stand in prayers with the Mission against the unnecessary aggression.<\/p>\n

The Center says it sees the situation as something abnormal and troubling because after making progress in the national recovery process to the delight of all Christians president Sirleaf would elect to fight God for a gift that was dedicated to Him God by the late Tubman Administration for the propagation of the gospel.<\/p>\n

Christian Media wants the President back off from the challenge adding no one has ever fought God and prevailed.<\/p>\n

The Center is calling on all Christian across Liberia to pray for the president because her decision to pursue the ELWA land in the face of options is not godly.<\/p>\n

Christian Media Center is also calling on all Christians to stand with ELWA in prayers and financial support as the mission face the government in court.<\/p>\n

The faith-based media group in the release noted that ELWA Ministries is one of the Christian monuments of Liberia that needs to be protected by all Christians.<\/p>\n

The government of Liberia recently took ELWA Ministries to Court in her bid to cease over 14.5 acres of the mission\u2019s land.<\/p>\n

President Sirleaf has told Liberians that she needs the land to build a ministerial complex that will house 13-government Ministries.<\/p>\n

But the land in question was a charitable gift to ELWA by the Tubman administration and the tribal chiefs of King Grey for the propagation of the word of God<\/p>\n

Christian Media Center says such attack on the church needs God\u2018s attention as the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof.<\/p>\n
