ADO-EKITI-Ekiti State Police Command has ordered the immediate removal of unserviceable vehicles on\u00a0 major\u00a0 roads in Ado Ekiti , the state capital, to forestall\u00a0 criminals planting explosivein them.<\/p>\n

According to the Command Public Relations Officer, PRO, Mr Mohammed Jimoh,\u00a0 such vehicles have served as tools for terrorists to launch\u00a0 attack.<\/p>\n

The PPRO called on the residents of the state to be alert and report any suspicious movement to the police and other law enforcement agents.<\/p>\n

\u00a0He said the Command had placed its men on 24-hour patrol and fortified Swift Response Squad, SRS, to ensure that the State capital was safe.<\/p>\n

\u00a0According to him, \u201cwe have taken enough precautionary measures to ensure that this state is safe. We are not happy with what happened in our Force Headquarters and we will stop at nothing to ensure that this state does not witness such a terrible attack\u201d.<\/p>\n

No police command will fold its arms and allow criminals to overrun its people and the entire citizens. So we are prepared to curtail the activities of these bombers in Ekiti State.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
