Accra, June 20, GNA – The New Patriotic Party ( NPP) parliamentary candidate for Tamale North , Mr Akilu Sayibu has pledged to be a Member of Parliament (MP) for all if he gets the nod in Election 2012 .<\/p>\n
He promised to work diligently to improve the situation of his people and constituents.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith God by my side, I will work hard to secure micro-credit facility for our women and farmers, collaborate with local and international NGOs to provide vocational skills for school leavers to make them employable.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will unveil strategies through which those already in employment in the informal sector in particular could expand their businesses for the mutual benefit of society, \u201che said during a media encounter in Tamale.<\/p>\n
Touching on education Mr Sayibu, said employable skills for the youth, improvement farming and community development would top his agenda for the Tamale North constituency.<\/p>\n
He said he had interacted with various youth groups in his constituency and could confirm that, lots of talents abound in the area.<\/p>\n
The NPP activist said right guidance and counseling were needed to turn the talents of the youth into money and jobs, stressing \u201cAkilu Sayibu is the right person to do this\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Tamale North parliamentary candidate explained that, even though he was elected by delegates of the NPP to lead the party in the constituency for Election 2012, he needed the votes of all to become an MP.<\/p>\n
Mr Akilu Sayibu appealed to every one in the Tamale North to join the \u201cAkilu for Parliament Project\u201d on facebook to get him elected on December 7 2012 as MP.<\/p>\n
