We asked for commitment from them and so far we are getting it,” he said.

He said Cameroun would be difficult opponents to play against knowing the physical presence of the West Africans who last played Zambia in a 2006 CAR World Cup qualifier.

Kang’ongwe said Zambia would not be cowed by the home ground advantage the Camerounians will be enjoying when they meet in the CAR Africa Cup qualifier on Tuesday, June 20 and that the team is going to Younde with qualification to the continental Cup as the minimum target.

Zambia opens her qualifying campaign on Tuesday against Cameroun before facing the winner between neighbours Botswana and Senegal both of whom were also in the same pool as Zambia during the last qualifiers.

<fieldset>
<legend align="center">More News on allAfrica.com</legend>
</fieldset>

AllAfrica – All the Time

Read this article:
Zambia: Injury Woes Derail Rugby Squad Prep

17 June 2011 The Zambia 15s rugby squad that is in camp preparing for the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) Africa Cup qualifier against Cameroun have suffered another setback after Isaac Munganga was ruled out through injury.
