We are happy with the success of the referendum as well as the prospect of having an independent Southern Sudan on the 9th of July.”

<fieldset>
<legend align="center">More News on allAfrica.com</legend>
</fieldset>

AllAfrica – All the Time

Read More:
Nigeria Debates Keeping Peacekeepers in South

Chineme Okafor 18 June 2011 The Federal Government has said it’s considering the possibility of keeping Nigerian troops in Southern Sudan beyond the July 9 Independence of the region.
