{"id":442566,"date":"2011-06-16T11:56:36","date_gmt":"2011-06-16T11:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/06\/16\/nbc-supports-business-training\/"},"modified":"2011-06-16T11:56:36","modified_gmt":"2011-06-16T11:56:36","slug":"nbc-supports-business-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/06\/16\/nbc-supports-business-training\/","title":{"rendered":"NBC Supports Business Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"35.4521038496\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailynews.co.tz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tanzania Daily News<\/a> (Dar\u00a0es\u00a0Salaam)<\/p>\n<p>15 June 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>The National Bank of Commerce (NBC) yesterday presented an 18.2m\/- cheque to the Equal Opportunities for All Trust Fund (EOTF) in support of three-day training for 250 female entrepreneurs from Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>Handing over the cheque, NBC Head of Marketing and Communications Mwinda Kiula- Mfugale said training for female entrepreneurs was in line with the bank&#8217;s policy of job creation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Creation of more jobs is critical to our policy of corporate social responsibility&#8230; through the support to these 250 entrepreneurs, we will have contributed to the economic liberation of women and thus increasing national income,&#8221; said Ms Kiula.<\/p>\n<p>Imparting entrepreneurial skills to women has proved to be highly effective in uplifting small entrepreneurs albeit their small capitals.
