Just as Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid do; they are institutions which, whatever happens, will always guarantee you titles. And it’s clear that I, as a player, want to keep improving every day and see how far I can go.<\/span><\/p>\n“I am frustrated at not winning titles, I have said that. But I am only 24 and I said to myself the day I became a professional, that I wanted to be the best I could become. It’s clear there are clubs that offer you \u2013 guarantee you \u2013 titles, competition, a personal challenge, etc.”<\/span><\/p>\nThe Spaniard, who joined Arsenal as a 16-year-old in 2003, maintained that his future is not in his hands, saying: \u201cNot everything depends on me. I wish it did, but as it doesn’t it’s impossible to say.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nFabregas is held in high esteem by Arsenal supporters and revealed that he would not openly announce that he wanted to join Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n“I won’t lose all that by saying four words that for me aren’t necessary, make them public,\u201d he said, referring to \u201cQuiero ir al Bar\u00e7a” \u2013 “I want to join Barca”.<\/span><\/p>\n“If I have to say something, I will do so in private and respecting the people who have given me so much.<\/span><\/p>\n“Everyone interprets their life or their decisions in the way they see convenient for themselves. And I have to act like the captain of Arsenal, which is what I am now, and I will do that until the last second.”<\/span><\/p>\nThe World Cup winner insisted that he has not discussed his future with Arsene Wenger or the Arsenal board.<\/span><\/p>\n“I haven’t spoken to the boss about this,” he said. “I did last year. And it’s nothing new because everyone knows it and lots of things have been written about it.<\/span><\/p>\n“At the end of the day, what will happen, will happen, and that’s that. I can’t say more because there’s nothing more to say.
