A representative of Luka Modric<\/a> has claimed that the player would be open to leaving Tottenham<\/a>, but insists a mooted \u00a322 million offer from Chelsea<\/a> is some way short of the midfielder’s value.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday night reports emerged that the Blues had made an offer of that amount for the Croat.<\/span><\/p>\n

BBC Sport<\/em> quote representative Nikky Vukan as saying: “Luka is happy at Spurs but if an offer came in that was acceptable to the club and player, we would be willing to discuss it.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In my opinion, \u00a322m is a valuation that is too low for the player.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Modric arrived at Tottenham in 2008 for \u00a316m and played a pivotal role in the side’s Champions League campaign last season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea are likely to increase their bid for the former Dinamo Zagreb player to tempt him away from north London.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
