TWO members of the National Assembly, Senator Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman and Johnson Akin-Adeoba, have assured that the new federal Legislature would offer quality representation through the making of pro-people laws.<\/p>\n

Abatemi-Usman, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District, said based on the antecedents of the new lawmakers, he was convinced that the seventh National Assembly would make a lot of difference.<\/p>\n

To Akin-Adeoba who represents Ile-Oluji\/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency of Ondo State on the platform of the Labour Party (LP), the only thing his people deserve is vibrant representation in the Lower House.<\/p>\n

At a thanksgiving service held in his honour at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Ile-oluji, Akin-Adeoba said it would be a misadventure for him to be a bench-warmer in the House.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur representation would seek to empower economically. Women, youths, farmers and the handicapped will be adequately taken care of. There is nothing better than putting smiles on the faces of the people whose mandate one is exercising\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

Abatemi-Usman said he believed that the duo of Senator David Mark and Aminu Tambuwal had what \u201cit would take to lead the National Assembly to greater heights through the enactment of quality laws that will alleviate the suffering of the masses\u201d.<\/p>\n
