Nigeria’s screen goddess Genevieve Nnaji is expected to meet hordes of her fans in Accra this weekend as she arrives for the premiere of her latest movie, ‘ Mirror Boy’ at the Silverbird Cinema on Friday, June 17.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of movie lovers will get the opportunity to meet the actress and other stars for photo opportunities.<\/p>\n
Genevieve will on Thursday, at 9pm, ahead of the premiere on Friday night, appear on etv Ghana’s 100 degrees for an hour of interesting dialogue between her and host of 100 degrees John Osei Tutu Agyeman.<\/p>\n
The one hour interaction with the film actress will focus on several aspects of her life including her career, family life among others.<\/p>\n
According to etv Ghana’s General Manager, JOT Agyeman, this special edition of the show would promote the new movie Genevieve is featuring in and at the same time give her fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with her.<\/p>\n
‘I am sure many of her fans, including myself, have always wanted to know certain things about her that we have not had the chance to, the reasons behind certain actions she’s taken among others.’<\/p>\n
Genevieve Nnaji has featured in several commercials, some of which include Pronto beverage and Omo detergent. In 2004, she became the ‘Face of Lux http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lux_%28soap%29 ‘ in Nigeria in a highly-lucra\u00adtive sponsor\u00adship deal.<\/p>\n
Nnaji, in 2008, launched a clothing line, ‘St. Genevieve’, which donates its proceeds to charity. In May 2010, Nnaji was appointed as the official Face of MUD http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Make-up_Designory I in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
Genevieve Nnaji has received several awards and nominations for her work, including the Best Actress of the year award at the 2001 City People Awards and the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2005 African Movie Academy Awards http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/African_Movie_Academy_Award .
