The club unveils 20 new signings from various clubs across the country with majority coming from FC Kallon. Notable amongst them is former Leone Stars and FC Kallon defender, Kemokai Kallon. Beside the players, the club also went on to unveil their new technical staff headed by former Gem Stars and Old Edwardians coach, Derrick Boison.

Meanwhile, the team will kick-off their league campaign today against newly promoted Manchester City FC at the National Stadium in Freetown, and club chairman Victor Lewis believes with his new signings they can secure a Premiership spot.

“This season we are ready to reach the Premiership, having failed in three successive seasons now,” Lewis said. He hailed Kemokai Kallon as the club’s biggest signing of the season before officially declaring him as the team’s captain.

“We are pleased to have Kemokai Kallon in our squad, he is the club’s biggest signing since it was formed some six years back. We find it difficult to get him to play for us, thanks to the effort of his brother, Mohamed Kallon,” said Lewis.

“We are happy to have Kemokai to captain this squad and lead us to the Premiership and I believe he can contribute greatly for the team because of his vast experience.”

<fieldset>
<legend align="center">More News on allAfrica.com</legend>
</fieldset>

AllAfrica – All the Time

Continue reading here:
Sierra Leone: Belvic Unveils Squad for First Division League

Concord Times (Freetown) 13 June 2011 Freetown — As the much awaited First Division League kicks-off today (Monday) in Freetown, the management of Belvic United has unveiled their squad for the 2011 league campaign, with a strong desire to clinch Premier League qualification.

["post-441463","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.0 -
