Christopher Agyapong Siaw<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Christopher Agyapong Siaw, a Commonwealth Scholarship student from Ghana, has won the prestigious 2011 marketing prize of the Academy of Marketing in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

According to a statement<\/a> on June 10, 2011 from the University of Glamorgan where Christopher Agyapong Siaw is undertaking\u00a0 a MSc Marketing course, he won the award also known as the \u201cProfessor Malcolm McDonald Student Essay Prize\u201d with an essay he wrote entitled: \u201cReal value is defined by the customer, not the supplier.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cChristopher Agyapong Siaw, a Commonwealth Scholarship student from Ghana who is undertaking the MSc Marketing at Glamorgan Business School, has won the prestigious Professor Malcolm McDonald Student Essay Prize\u201d, the statement said.<\/p>\n

According to the Academy of Marketing<\/a>, Christopher\u2019s essay was selected after a blind review process, with the top three shortlisted papers being passed to Professor McDonald for the final decision.<\/p>\n

The prize will be presented to Christopher at the Academy of Marketing conference dinner on July 7, 2011 in Liverpool by Professor McDonald, the sponsor.<\/p>\n

Christopher said he built on the understanding developed during his course to develop his essay.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were discussing these issues during my classes, and so I decided to enter when I saw the competition and the essay title promoted on Glamlife, the student portal\u2026 I am extremely happy to have won this prize\u201d the statement cited Christopher as saying.<\/p>\n
