Prior to her internment a solemn funeral and thanksgiving service was held at the Trinity Methodist Church, Serrekunda, attended by more than half a dozen bishops and priests, pupils of Methodist Prep and Kindergarten, apart from relatives and friends.<\/p>\n<p>In delivering the sermons the Reverend Bankole Coker who knew her personally, talked about her readiness to give away whatever she had to her relatives and friends. He preached that Christians should be ready to give what they have to those in need than to glorify wealth, noting the biblical teaching that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to go to heaven.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils of Methodist Prep and Kindergarten sang a hymn in memory of a former headmistress. A combination of Trinity, Wesley and Bethel Church Choir sang an anthem.
