Adoagyiri-Nsawam (E\/R), June 14, GNA \u2013 More than 200 youth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Adoagyiri-Nsawam in the Eastern Region at the weekend demonstrated in support of Mr Mark Amoako Dompreh, the President’s nominee as Akuapem South Municipal Chief Executive…<\/p>\n
After the two-hour demonstration, Mr Gordon Gborgli, Leader of the group told the Ghana News Agency that the Municipality has been without a Chief Executive for the past six months, explaining that the stalemate was retarding progress.<\/p>\n
He said infrastructural and economic developments had come to a standstill, while the 53 electoral areas were crying for development.<\/p>\n
Mr Gborgli therefore, appealed to the 77 assembly members in the Municipality to vote massively for the President’s nominee whenever the time comes for his confirmation.<\/p>\n
