Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo is\u00a0 one of the discussants\u00a0 expected at\u00a0 high level panel discussions at the\u00a0 on-going 100th session of the International Labour Conference ( ILC) in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Also , there were indications that President Goodluck Jonathan who was earlier expected to address the ILC will no longer do so.<\/p>\n

President Jonathan is not listed as a speaker at the conference.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Nigeria is out of the Governing Body at the level of employers, government and workers.<\/p>\n

The Governing Body is a executive decision making organ\u00a0 of the ILO.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the former president is expected to disscuss<\/p>\n

\u201d Lessons from the recent crisis for building sustainable and shared societies; implications for the ILO\u201d\u00a0 on Tuesday, June 14.<\/p>\n

Other discussants include, former president of Ghana, Mr. John Kufuor and the former prime minister of Netherlands, Mr. Wim Kok.<\/p>\n

Also on Wednesday, Chief\u00a0 Olusegun Obasanjo will also discuss \u201c the need for a new era of social justice\u201d.\u00a0 This is a high level panel organised by Club de Madrid.<\/p>\n

The discussion will take place after the address of\u00a0 Russian prime minister, His Excellencey, Mr. Vladimir Putin,\u00a0 President of the Swiss Confederation, Her Excellency, Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey and the President of Tanzania, His Excellencz, Mr. Jakaza Mrisho Kikwete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
