*Rescue 3-year-old boy<\/p>\n

Asaba -A middle-aged pastor, was among nine suspected kidnappers paraded at the Delta State Police headquarters in Asaba, yesterday, over their alleged involvement in different cases of kidnapping.<\/p>\n

Also yesterday, four suspects arrested for allegedly vandalizing Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, cables were paraded with the recovered amoured cables that were being carted away.<\/p>\n

State Police Commissioner, Mr Mamman\u00a0 Tsafe told newsmen that the pastor was picked up following the discovery of a 3 -year-old baby at his residence.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201con the first of this month at about 2130 hours, one Yoleme Edoja, female aged 3 years, was kidnapped at Ughelli. \u2018A\u2019 Divison Ughelli patrol team working in synergy with local vigilante traced the suspects to their hideout and arrested a pastor of Pentecostal African Church, Ughelli and a Cameroonian.\u201d He added\u00a0 that\u00a0 the victim was rescued unhurt at the pastor\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n

According to him,\u00a0 the suspects had demanded\u00a0 N4 million ransom before they were caught.<\/p>\n

The CP also said that another group of kidnappers kidnapped a 6-year-old boy at Kaduna and \u201cdemanded the sum of N2.5 million and directed the mother of the child to Oleh, Delta State to trade the ransom for her son.\u201d Tsafe commended his men, who, on Sunday, trailed and arrested one of the suspects while trying to pick the ransom along IDC Road Oleh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
