I&#8217;m not interested in the details,&#8221; the person said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Police Deputy Commissioner Marcellus Maretshane, the couple were allegedly arguing since Wednesday. On Friday morning, the man &#8220;snapped&#8221; and stabbed his girlfriend, Lucia Neliwa (30), with a knife in her neck before repeatedly beating her with a steel object. She died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>According to Maretshane, the man then apparently drank &#8220;battery acid, or something poisonous&#8221; in an attempt to commit suicide.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested and taken to the Swakopmund State Hospital where he is recovering under Police custody.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He is coughing up blood, so his condition is serious but he will survive.
