Former Chelsea<\/a> manager Carlo Ancelotti<\/a> has made it clear that he will not be taking charge at Aston Villa<\/a> after revealing that he is to take a year-long break from the game.<\/p>\n

The ex-AC Milan coach recently got the sack at Stamford Bridge and has since been linked with clubs such Villa, Fulham and his former club Roma but he is not interested in taking up a new job just yet.<\/p>\n

“I have been working non-stop since 1995, bar a short period of six-months. I will now take a year off and look around a bit. I want to study how some of my colleagues are working and will live in London,” Ancelotti revealed to La Stampa<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old then went on to say that he still has the ambition to coach Roma at one point in his career, but the time is not right yet to take the reins at the Stadio Olimpico.<\/p>\n

“I have never even talked with the people at Roma. I have nothing against the new American owners. I have always said that I will one day coach Roma and can only repeat that. There is still plenty of time for that though.”<\/p>\n

Ancelotti made well over 150 official appearances for Roma from 1979 until 1987.<\/p>\n
