The 25-year-old\u2019s recruitment will reportedly be funded by the \u00a375m budget set for manager Kenny Dalglish and director of football Damien Comolli to reinforce the squad this summer.<\/p>\n

According to News of the World<\/em>, the Reds’ boss wants to spend \u00a342m on Aston Villa\u2019s Stewart Downing, Blackburn\u2019s Phil Jones and Blackpool\u2019s Charlie Adam.<\/p>\n

Comolli has on his wishlist Sunderland\u2019s Jordan Henderson and Ipswich\u2019s Connor Wickham both valued at \u00a315m and \u00a310m respectively.<\/p>\n

However, Ashley Young could be leaving Villa for Manchester City for \u00a315m instead of heading to Anfield.<\/p>\n

One player reportedly exiting the club, however, is Daniel Agger after Bayer Leverkusen offered \u00a310m for the Danish defender with Hamburg and Malaga also having expressed interest.
