The Police in Ashanti Region are investigating death threats on the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n
Mr Yaw Owusu Obimpeh said he has received threats on his life through anonymous mobile phone text messages.The NDC Regional Chairman told GNA that he had made a formal report to the Police in Kumasi.
Mr Owusu said he would not be intimidated or frightened by the threats adding that “This could only come from cowards”.<\/p>\n
He said he would not speculate why anybody or group within or outside the NDC might want to harm him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
