Ghana have set sights thrashing Congo on Friday to complete a double over the central African country when the two sides clash\u00a0 in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kumasi.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Black Stars, 3-0 winners in the first encounter in Brazzaville in March, are looking forward to victory to consolidate their hold the of top spot of Group I as well as move closer to qualification.<\/p>\n
The Black Stars have been boosted by the presence of Michael Essien who returns to the squad after a 16-month absence.<\/p>\n
German-born midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng will be playing for the first time in Ghana since his nationality switch last year.<\/p>\n
Also available is Andre Ayew, the second son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele who has put behind a burglary incident his Marseille home over the weekend to join the Stars for the crucial day four qualifier.<\/p>\n
But the home side will be without right-back Samuel Inkoom who suffered a thigh injury during training on Monday.<\/p>\n
Ghana have their unbeaten run at stake as well as the enviable feat on not conceding a goal and the two records look set to remain intact as the Congolese appear without the venom to deflate it.<\/p>\n
Also, the game will be the first at home for trainer Goran Stevanovic, who took over the reigns of the team from countryman Milovan Rajevac, now in charge of Qatar.<\/p>\n
