Abiola Ajimobi, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Waheed Akin Olajide as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He also announced the appointments of Dr. Adeolu Akande and Dr. Festus Adedayo as Chief of Staff to the Governor and Senior Special Assistant (Public Communication) respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Alhaji Olajide, 61, a chartered accountant, studied Chemistry at the then University of Ife, later known as Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He proceeded to bag a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Ibadan. The new SSG is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered\u00a0<\/span><span><span>Accountants and was Managing Director of the University Press Limited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dr. Akande, 45, holds a doctorate degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan. He was Deputy Editor of the Nigerian Tribune and\u00a0<\/span><span><span>lecturer in Political Science at the University of Ibadan. He was Special Assistant (Research and\u00a0 Communication Strategies) to the Vice President of\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span><span>the Federal Republic and a communications and political strategy consultant.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dr. Adedayo, 42, holds a doctorate degree in Political Communication from the Political Science Department of the University of Ibadan.
