\"\"<\/a>After I saw Chapter 1 of Shirley Frimpong-Manso\u2019s \u2018Adams Apples\u2019 I wrote in my little review that I felt the pace was rather slow. Well, the pace doesn\u2019t get any better in the second chapter as it revolves around the Adams and their activities within a day. Nonetheless, judging from the little teaser from Chapter 3 that I saw at a recent screening, it is a good filler for what is yet to come in the series and quite frankly I can\u2019t wait to see how the story unfolds.<\/p>\n

In \u2018 Adams Apple Chapter 2: Twisted Connections\u2019 the day starts off rocky for Kukua Adams as she knocks heads with her new boss over her creative prowess; meanwhile Denu takes a firm decision to let go off the past which seem to rock Kukua\u2019s world even harder. And when Jennifer tries to conclude a house sale with her new young client, things take a dramatic turn, spiraling events out of control and deepening already strained relations with her secretary. <\/span><\/p>\n

Also, an ugly pre-divorce fight ensues between Baaba and her husband which pushes the latter to give Baaba an ultimatum if she has to continue to spend time with their daughter.\u00a0 A big announcement at a meeting with her colleagues spurs Mrs. Adams on to take bold steps towards her past, soon realizing though that history may have repeated itself. Meanwhile Albert seeks legal advice on how to proceed with his land court case and a worried father welcomes home a distraught daughter, a relationship that is set to change the Adams lives forever. A lot could happen in a day\u2026 like the discovery of a new family.<\/p>\n

Yes a lot can happen in a day so we can all forget about the pace and enjoy this chapter. I however found it particularly difficult to swallow the \u2018trapped and unlawful entry scenes\u2019 where a lady was trapped inside a locked house with her boyfriend struggling to break her free. \u00a0The cameras showed us a double breasted front door which by all means would allow unlocking from inside. These types of doors normally unlock from inside to allow for the opening of both panels of the door. Anyway, I\u2019m by no means an architect so check out the premiere of Chapter 2 at the National Theatre, June 3 and let\u2019s see if you would agree with me.\u00a0 It will also open at the Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall from June 10, 2011.<\/p>\n
