Beautiful Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has finally responded to reports making rounds in the media that hiplife star Okyeame Kwame is divorcing his wife to rekindle his love for her, after they broke up some five years ago.<\/p>\n
In an exclusive interview on Peace FM\u2019s \u201cEntertainment Review\u201d last Saturday May 28, 2011, the \u201cMadam Moke\u201d actress denied the reports and stated categorically that there was no way they will get back together again.<\/p>\n
McBrown said even though they are not enemies, she hardly communicates with the renowned rapper.<\/p>\n
\u201cKwame and I are not enemies but I can\u2019t recall the last time I spoke to him to be honest with you. If I should see Kwame then it’s either on an MTN billboard or on TV in an MTN commercial…The last time I saw Kwame, if I could remember was at the 4Syte Music Video Awards, which is almost a year ago. I think if people have nothing to say they shouldn’t just sit down and concoct false stories…things like this will not weigh me down…Kwame and I have nothing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also denied rumours that she went on a secret romantic trip to France with the 2009 Ghana Music Awards \u201cArtiste of the Year\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell I don\u2019t even have a French Visa. I have been to France before but I didn\u2019t go with a French visa and even that was about three years ago. Whether we went to France, or Aburi or Akosombo, it’s not true,” she fumed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI beg you let’s help protect Okyeame Kwame and his marriage, I beg…He doesn\u2019t have any problem with his wife so let me also have my peace,\u201d Nana Ama emphasized.<\/p>\n
The bubbly actress further disclosed any time they do meet, which is even rarely, they hardly spend more than 5 seconds together. \u201cWe don\u2019t talk not even on phone. I only meet him at events and we only say hi to each and every one goes his or her way. We don\u2019t even spend more than 5 seconds together so let\u2019s forget about this issue\u201d.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile the \u201cWoso\u201d hit maker has also denied the rumours in an interview with Peacefmonline.com saying his marriage is very much intact.<\/p>\n
Peacefmonline.com has unconfirmed information that Okyeame Kwame\u2019s wife Annica who is heavily pregnant with their second child was emotionally affected when she heard this news in the media.<\/p>\n
