My Fair Brady<\/em> stars Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight have separated on what is the fifth anniversary of their wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated,” their manager, Phil Viardo, said in a statement to the Web site Hollyscoop.com<\/a>. “The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union.”<\/p>\n

This was Curry’s first marriage and Knight’s third. They had no children<\/a>. <\/p>\n

In what was perceived as a romance made in reality-TV heaven, Curry, now 28, was the winner of the first season of America’s Next Top Model<\/em> when she and Knight met in 2004 to film the fourth season of VH1’s The Surreal Life<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Knight, now 53 and a businessman, is still best known for his ’70s TV role as Peter Brady on the iconic The Brady Bunch<\/em>. (His appearance in the opening credits was in the box to the right of “Alice,” Ann B. Davis.)<\/p>\n

In 2008, Knight’s TV mom, Florence Henderson, stated publicly<\/a> that she didn’t think his marriage to Curry was a good idea, given that their relationship had been born in front of the cameras.<\/p>\n

“They didn’t take my advice at all!” said Henderson. “And as you may have seen, they did get engaged and they did get married. Maybe I will counsel the divorce.”<\/p>\n

Knight said at the time<\/a> he was hurt by her comments. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
