{"id":432566,"date":"2011-05-30T09:25:23","date_gmt":"2011-05-30T09:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/30\/marginals-flyover-inaugurated-opens-to-traffic\/"},"modified":"2011-05-30T09:25:23","modified_gmt":"2011-05-30T09:25:23","slug":"marginals-flyover-inaugurated-opens-to-traffic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/30\/marginals-flyover-inaugurated-opens-to-traffic\/","title":{"rendered":"Marginal&#8217;s Flyover Inaugurated, Opens to Traffic"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"24.4019466474\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.angolapress-angop.ao\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/allafrica.com\/img\/static\/publishers\/minibanners\/angop180.jpg\" alt=\"Angola Press Agency (Luanda)\" title=\"Visit Angola Press Agency (Luanda)\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>27 May 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>Luanda \u2014 Road traffic opened Friday on the newly built flyover that connects the Luanda Marginal Avenue to Luanda Island and Dr. Agostinho Neto Avenue, in the capital, following its inauguration by the head of State, Jos\u00e9 Eduardo dos Santos.<\/p>\n<p>Called the &#8220;Kianda&#8221; flyover, the infrastructure is comprised of three lanes for each direction and was built in eight months.<\/p>\n<p>According to the consortium that built the flyover, the infrastructure was designed to the most sophisticated standards of international engineering and security rules.<\/p>\n<p>The 100-metre flyover was built over a point of intersection between the Luanda city and Luanda Island and is expected to ease traffic road in the normally jammed area.
