He explain that they were heinously ambushed by the so-called the Police Forces of Southern Sudan, an attack that claimed lives of more than 80 persons with others injured and missing persons besides total destruction of the machinery of the Armed Forces in the area.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Armed Forces had to assume their full responsibility to secure their elements and to establish security in the region,&#8221; he explained. Ambassador Al-Dirdiri explained that withdrawal of the Armed Forces from Abyei depends on formation of joint forces that are agreed on, stressing the necessity of promoting the culture of peace and giving the diplomacy the chance to solve the pending issues by virtue of dialogue and understanding, affirming commitment of the State with respect to the international agreements and conventions.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, ambassador Al-Dirdiri urged the United Nations to assume its duty in the region in a view that it witnessed the recent incidents since the arrival of the Commander of the so-called South Sudan Police Forces, Deng Aroup, in Abyei only to breach the signed agreements.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Commander Aroup disobeyed the President of South Sudan Gen.
