Charity Ngilu (Kitui Central) and Kiema Kilonzo (Mutito) held a meeting attended by 2,000 delegates from the region. The delegates resolved to put in place a committee which would come up with proposals that will help uplift the living standards of Kitui residents.<\/p>\n<p>South Eastern University College (SEUCO) Principal, Professor Geoffrey Muluvi was endorsed to head the team. &#8220;Poverty, illiteracy and famine are some of the major set backs that we the Kitui people face.
