{"id":429946,"date":"2011-05-25T11:26:44","date_gmt":"2011-05-25T11:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/25\/presidential-inauguration-police-to-deploy-15000-personnel\/"},"modified":"2011-05-25T11:26:44","modified_gmt":"2011-05-25T11:26:44","slug":"presidential-inauguration-police-to-deploy-15000-personnel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/25\/presidential-inauguration-police-to-deploy-15000-personnel\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidential Inauguration &#8211; Police to Deploy 15,000 Personnel"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"41.0912087912\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.champion.com.ng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/allafrica.com\/img\/static\/publishers\/minibanners\/dailychampion180.jpg\" alt=\"Daily Champion (Lagos)\" title=\"Visit Daily Champion (Lagos)\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>25 May 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>The Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) Police Command has disclosed it is planning to deploy between 13,000 and 15,000 personnel, including other security operatives, for the May 29 presidential inauguration, its spokesman, Mr Jimoh Moshood, has said.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman of the command Jimoh Moshood stated this while speaking with newsmen.He explained that security agencies were already meeting and harmonising operational strategies to achieve desired result.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now, we (security agencies) are working on the same operational order to ensure that the security strategies are harmonised to give us the best result that we need,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Moshood said the command had intensified its stop-and-search operation as part of measures to ensure security before, during and after the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>He said additional check points had been created in the FCT and urged motorists to co-operate with the security operatives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our men are under strict instruction to be civil, to be polite but to be strict in their operation.
