{"id":429783,"date":"2011-05-24T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-05-24T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/05\/24\/two-jailed-for-selling-adulterated-insecticide\/"},"modified":"2011-05-24T23:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-05-24T23:00:00","slug":"two-jailed-for-selling-adulterated-insecticide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/05\/24\/two-jailed-for-selling-adulterated-insecticide\/","title":{"rendered":"Two jailed for selling adulterated insecticide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div readability=\"53\">Two men, Chinedu Ugwu and Ogbonna Nwobodo were on Monday sentenced to six months imprisonment each by an Abuja Senior Magistrate Court for selling adulterated insecticide.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Magistrate Ahmed Shuaibu however gave them fine options of N6,000 each.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecuting police officer, Oyewuse Abiola, had told the court that Ugwu of Mopol junction, Nyanya and Nwobodo of Garki market, were arrested with three cartons of adulterated Baygon insecticides products.<\/p>\n<p>He said that their arrest were prompted by a complaint made by Baygon\u2019s Sales and Marketing\u00a0 General Manager, Mr A.
